Textbook: Tucker, Applied Combinatorics. The bookstore stocks the current edition, and you can obtain digital access most affordably through our campus bookstore. Older editions are acceptable and might be available elsewhere at a lower cost.
The final exam takes place 8:00-10:00am on Friday, May 12 in our usual classroom, CR141.
Remote access to MAPLE. You can of course use Mathematica, Sage or Matlab, according to your personal preference.

Sample Test 1. (Do not look at the solutions until after you have worked through the Sample Test for yourself. These solutions were put together pretty quickly, so watch out for possible misprints.)
Optional Test 2 will take place 5-6pm on Tuesday, April 25 in Ross Hall 308. (If we are not there, look for a sign on the door indicating a new location in the same building.) See Sample Test 2 for a description of content, and sample problems. If you choose not to take this optional test, I will copy your Test 1 grade as your Test 2 grade. If you choose to take this optional test, I will take the maximum of your grades on Tests 1 and 2, as your recorded grade for Test 2.
