We have covered (at least parts of) Chapters 1-16, 19-22, 24, 32, 35, 47-48.  We are about to cover aspects of Diffie-Hellman and RSA cryptography; see Chapters 18 and 29.

•   Access to Mathematica for UW students.  Although it is possible to access Mathematica from a UW campus computer lab, it is recommended that you download the Wolfram Mathematica software onto your computer for remote use.
•   Our First Mathematica Notebook will be demonstrated in class early in the semester, possibly on Fri Jan 24
•   We classify the primitive Pythagorean triples.  Using this parameterization, we list the smallest primitive Pythagorean triples using a Mathematica notebook.
